My students are from single family poverty stricken homes. They are kind, and respectful to their classmates and adults. The majority of the students are intellectual gifted. They have so much to offer their community. Unfortunately, our school has limited resources to further enrich their lives. They love to draw landscapes, perform poetry and write amazing stories. Many of the students have never ventured out their neighborhoods. Still, some of them are struggling with being homeless. No matter what they are going through in their lives they remain optimistic.
