My students are all ages and of all backgrounds and nationalities. Many students are coming to a new country and learning about new culture and language. All of my students are facing challenges that include high poverty, poor home situations, and impossible circumstances sometimes. At the end of the year we have a fun day to celebrate their hard work, and I would love to set up a button station that will have our students designing their own unity and peace buttons to keep or share with a friend. These buttons would be awesome for the next year also to continue with our new additions and for holidays, family gifts, birthdays, and more!
