That's one small step for man, one giant leap for Second Grade. I teach 2nd grade at Adamsville Elementary School. Traditionally, Adamsville is considered one of the roughest areas in Atlanta in which to grow up. Of my 16 students, 15 are on free or reduced lunch. This means that many of the resources that are available to higher-income schools and communities are not available to my students, simply by virtue of where they were born.
