An inspiring principal, dedicated teachers, great pilot projects and me! I'm the new technology resource teacher at Francisco Middle School. We have a brand new computer lab. We are piloting digital tools for the district like Teenbiz3000.com, where students read daily news articles On line to improve reading. We're publishing students' "Streetside Stories" digitally, in several different ways. The principal and school site council are focused on bringing our teaching and learning into the 21st century with new tools and leadership. The only thing we don't have is resources for training teachers to use all this great stuff! I'm ready and willing to stay after school to do the training. But teachers who've worked all day and need to spend time grading and planning need some incentive to attend after school or Saturday workshops.
