They are the trailer park kids. They are learning English and are far below grade level. Their parents work hard and are very supportive of school and the importance of an education. Determined to beat the odds, together with the community we are working to get these kids the opportunities all students should have. The day starts for them at 7:45 - they remain after school an additional 3 hours after the other kids go home. Eagerly they work and slowly they grow. The future for these students lies in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.

About my class
