We are a Medical High School in California, a small pathway school, in a large diverse district. Our students come from all areas of our community and choose this school for the challenge and the health careers focus. My students are 12th graders in a Medical Ethics course. Medical Ethics is a year long capstone course for seniors that explores and researches issues related to the Health and Social Science fields. Students will examine moral dilemmas created or intensified by advances in medical technology and carefully examine historical, current, and emerging ethical issues related to both domestic and global health. My students are a mix of high energy and studious students who want to be better their communities in their chosen pathway: medicine.
