I have a mixture of children of all backgrounds and socioeconomic classes. They are hungry to learn and want to be better readers. many have not been exposed to the literature that they should have by this stage in their life. Many have single parents who work a lot and are being raised or taken care of by their grandparents after school. We are a title I school with a high free/reduced lunch rate and we also have Integration as well as ILC classes in our building.

About my class
