Students come from the "West" side of town and the "East" side of town, meaning our school has a very diverse population-- both culturally, education level of parents, and family income. However, all my students love art class, and are curious and interested in trying new mediums and techniques. We study artists who are innovators, and I encourage creativity and originality in whatever my students produce. Andy Goldsworthy and Georgia O'Keefe have been two favorites of many students; a contemporary and historical artist who both used Nature as their inspiration.

About my class
