My students are all African American and hail from a tough, economically depressed neighborhood in an urban setting. They are eager learners with supportive, driven families who have sought an alternative to failing neighborhood schools for their students. We are a public charter school that strives to individualize and accelerate learning for our students so that we can prepare them to be successful in selective enrollment high schools and after that, to be college-bound.
