I teach first grade to a fabulous group of 23 students. It was clear on the first day of school that they were all eager to learn and explore the content of first grade. Our school is special, in that, we have a wide variety of learning abilities. We also have a diverse population in socio-economic status, that range from wealthy, to lower class. Therefore, we pride ourselves in creating an environment that is equal and conducive to all learners. My class would put a smile on any one's face. They truly are a vivaciously sweet group of children who make my life amazing. However, 23 students means 23 different learning abilities. Each student is wired with their own individual learning style. Our class is very diverse in this regard.
