My students are creative, responsible, enthusiastic, respectful, engaged and committed to their learning in and out of the classroom. By third grade, they are deeply committed not only to their learning but also to one another. On the playground, students can be seen four square-ing with kids from other classes, grades, backgrounds. 43% of students at our school are reported to be socioeconomically disadvantaged, 9% special needs and 9% English Language Learners; of course, everyone works hard to learn together and raise the bar. It truly is a vibrant place to learn and grow.
