The students in my classroom are kind and generous; they love to read and have dance parties! With their creative imaginations, my students enjoy making up poetry, songs, rhymes, and raps. Populations include: Somali, Ethiopian, African American, Hispanic, Caucasian, Burmese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Native American and Nigerian. About half of my students speak second and third languages, some students receive special education services, and all of my students set high goals.
