I am the library media specialist at Campobello- Gramling School, which is K4-8th grade. Prior to this, I taught middle school language arts and digital basics classes for 12 years. The students of my school live in a rural area, in Spartanburg District 1 in South Carolina. CGS is an award winning school, including winning a Palmetto's Finest Award last school year. Our students are some of the sweetest, well-mannered, hardest working kids around. With the wide range in ages within our school of over 750 students, we function more as a family than your typical school setting. The older students help look our for the younger students. This is my first year in the library media center at our school and only the 3rd in the history of the school, since its opening in the late 1960's. We are working hard to move our media center into the 21st century!
