My students are all bright, passionate, and energetic learners. Many of my students struggle to stay focused on classroom tasks and activities. This can be very frustrating for children and slows their academic growth. Research tells us that these children will learn better when they can fidget (http://www.edutopia.org/resource/adhd-and-fidgeting-research). We work to help students recognize their own needs and build strategies that support staying engaged in learning. For some students this means finding ways to fidget or wiggle (watch the feet of adults during a meeting - many of us fidget and wiggle too!). Other students can better stay focused when they engage their core muscles. Hokki Stools are designed to meet the needs of both kinds of students!
