My students would highly benefit from a mobile anchor chart easel and chart paper, where we can brainstorm as a group and make a visual guide that they take part in. When students create the posters in the classroom through active participation by volunteering their individual ideas and questions, they internalize the material and are more likely to remember the information that we are learning in each unit of study. The easel will help us easily organize and revisit material we have learned throughout the year. For example, when we learn about authors purpose, we can create diagrams, illustrations, and examples of how an author's purpose is different when reading fiction and non-fiction.
