Technology is a necessity in the 21st Century classroom and my students thirst for more of it! Technology, like the iPad, is changing the way students learn today and is preparing students for 21st Century learning. The educational applications available for literacy and math skills can help increase student achievement. There are 20 kindergarten students in my classroom and many of my students need support with basic reading and math skills. Funding this project would make learning fun and exciting for my students. These iPad minis will be used daily to support the range of learners in my classroom and their individual needs. All students deserve to have technology at their fingertips and this project will ensure my students have the necessary tools needed to succeed.
