My students are amazing kids. When I say that it isn't just fluff. They truly amaze me. The students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and yet when they come to school and know they are loved they light up. Something inside of them shines so bright. Hope. My students give me hope for the world. They want to change the world. Just yesterday a girl age 9 said "I want to be the first female president. And when I am I will make sure everyone has what they need. And everyone has rights." Books in our classroom that are high quality will make sure these kids continue to dream BIG!
