My students are typical 9th graders at a title one inner-city school in Georgia. As 14 and 15-year-olds, they are actively engaging in self exploration socially and academically. They are respectful, hard workers, who need a little extra guidance learning how to be still, introspective, and patient. Many of them live in areas that are not safe to exercise and play outside, causing them to spend increased sedentary time indoors.

About my class
