I am a 2nd-4th grade teacher of students with autism, anxiety disorders, sensory processing disorders, behavior disorders, fine/gross motor delays, ADHD, and developmental delays. At this age, learning is crucial! Without appropriate resources in the classroom, I am unable to include my students in general education curriculum. Since my students have difficulty communicating because of speech delays, technology and adapted materials are necessary for every area of learning. In addition, I have a very small classroom budget considering the great needs of my students. Accommodations are hard to come by on such a budget.
