My students range from 9th to 12th grade with a wide range of abilities. They are fun-loving students who need to be challenged with hands-on activities, which the Project Lead The Way engineering curriculum provides. My school is located in rural North Carolina near a military base, and we have approximately 1100 students. Many of these same engineering students are also member of a FIRST Robotics Team. This team is a great experience for engineering students, because they can apply their class learning directly to a project that competes against teams from around the world.
