I began my teaching career in 2006 and have worked predominately in Title I schools. Many of my students are struggling with the concept of science. This is due to the lack of exposure whether if it is at home or school. This year, I plan on giving my students a closer look at science through hands-on experiments. As a classroom teacher, I hope that this creates a high achieving environment and builds a classroom culture of cooperative learners. These experiment kits will also create a sense of eagerness to learn more science throughout their school career.
