Our students are well mannered and work hard. 94% of them are on free and reduced lunch. This is a high poverty neighborhood in town with a reputation for being affluent. Most of our children are from humble families who work in the service industry. Many don't have quality books or educational toys at home. They get all their English language and literacy experiences here at school. Here in the media center we strive to have an inviting and dynamic environment.
