I am a Special Education teacher blessed to work with a wonderful group of students at a large middle school in Illinois. I teach Language Arts to 65 students during 5 instructional periods throughout the school day. My students learn in a variety of learning styles and need many tools for success. My classroom is a calm classroom which means we practice calm and relaxing techniques as well as have dimmed lights and relaxing music playing daily. My readers and writers enjoy a classroom library as well as the comfort in knowing that the classroom is a safe, learning environment. Thank you for taking the time to read about the projects I have submitted which will directly impact students daily in my classroom.
