I teach first grade in a very small school. I have 22 energy packed students. They are so excited to learn and to be in school, which I absolutely love. We are a very small county school. We serve Pre-K through eighth grade students. We do have many low income families in our school. These families do work very hard to provide and to encourage their children learn and succeed. I am fortunate to work with fantastic parents and staff. We teachers are responsible for teaching all subjects. PE is a subject we all enjoy but unfortunately with limited funding it is one we have to work very hard at to find fun and creative ways to help our kids enjoy and learn. Jumping rope, kicking a ball, and playing hopscotch are activities my kids love but are not always able to do just because of resources. We share equipment and space with the entire school. If we have more resources and equipment the more all the students can benefit. Thank you for your time and interest in our request.
