My classroom consists of Primary Grade (Kindergarten through 2nd) special education students, each with their own variety of needs. They are energetic and excited when they come to school each day and I hope to maintain that enthusiasm! Unfortunately, my students don't have the world at their fingertips, because most of their families are not financially able to provide that for them. Our limited school budget also provides little funds for creating a comfortable classroom environment conducive to learning (as you can see from the picture). So I need to create a safe and inviting classroom environment where they can learn and grow.
