My students attend a public school in Illinois. They are incredibly hard working! All 15 of my students love when I bring authentic activities for us to work on! This excitement engages them in learning on a much deeper level and the learning that results from these activities lasts much longer and generalizes to higher order more complex concepts! Putting highly engaging texts that support their underestanding of the world and the tools they need to solve real-world problems helps them continue to make progress and grow!
