It requires several very specific ingredients...determination, vision, and passion, to name a few. Thankfully, my forward-thinking and engaged students have the drive it takes to develop our blossoming school into a haven for the creative. Most of my students come from violence-ridden and impoverished neighborhoods, and may not have access to the creative and therapeutic outlet that the fine arts provide. Additionally, as a new school, many of the enriching programs offered at larger schools, such as the arts, are not yet available.
