Our students have the good fortune to attend school in a beautiful building where both the faculty and the families work together for the safety and well-being of our students. Our Title I school educates students from Pre-K to fifth grade. These students live in an urban area and attend school with over 600 students. Some of our students walk to and from school, some of them ride a bus or ride in an after-school care vehicle, and some of our students are transported by car. As you can imagine, at dismissal time, our school property and the surrounding streets can become quite congested with the different types of transportation required to accommodate our student body. The Kindergarten and first grade teachers have developed a dismissal procedure that we feel is the safest for our students and the most efficient for their parents. With the help of student patrols, all students will leave school safely each day.
