My second graders are a truly great bunch! They have inquisitive minds and are always eager to learn new and exciting thing. Our school provides children with a safe haven that is conducive to the best education possible, despite circumstances they may encounter at home. Literacy is such an integral part of education and is a high priority in our classroom. Some of my students come from homes where enriching books and resources are limited. This is why I am so compelled to provide them with the most enriching literature available to help spark their interest and create life-long readers. As young readers, it is vital to have books that keep my students interested and get them excited about reading.
