The children in this community have experienced so many losses and have gone through so much in their lives since the May 22nd Tornado that tore through the heart of Joplin Missouri. Many of the children have lost their homes and belongings and don't have a sense of stability. I want to make our learning time as exciting, relaxing and enriching as possible for these Kindergarteners every day. I want my students to have access to materials that will help them succeed in school.

About my class
