They are middle school students with great potential. Their school is an old building without AC and running lead-free water (they have deer park fountains). They come from broken families and a dangerous neighborhood. My goal as an educator is to provide them with a classroom that is engaging, safe, inspiring, inquisitive, and full of character. My students teach me new things everyday. I just want to give back to them, school shouldn't feel or look like jail!
