In our small town, access to technology is limited. We only have one internet service provider, for goodness sake! Many of my students' lives are affected by financial and cultural limitations. Unfortunately, a lack of access to technology seriously limits our students' learning opportunities. This is especially true for students with special needs. I have students who are not able to use a computer mouse because of age or motor delays, but can use an iPad. We have ABCMouse for all our students, but no way for my special needs students to effectively access it. iPads would give them this opportunity.
