I teach at an all male high school in Baltimore City. My students have special needs and often learn in different ways. They love to move around the room and experience things with their eyes, ears, and bodies. They are funny and vibrant young men who stay true to their unique personalities. Our school is an urban public-charter school where an overwhelming majority of students are in a free or reduced meal program. While our surroundings outside are often dangerous, the atmosphere inside the walls of our classroom are safe, and support learning and adventure!
