My third grade students are curious about the events they hear on the news or from friends and family, especially when it concerns our local community or their home country. Our student population has students from all over the world and they want to read and discuss events. Our classroom is very collaborative and non-fiction text, such as Time for Kids, lends itself to fantastic discussion and debate. Our students are ready for critical thinking and analytical response. We are requesting third grade magazines.
