The SDSU Aztecs are little 2nd graders full of energy and ambition to succeed! They are attending a first year school in a low-income area in Southern California. They maintain a positive attitude despite coming from homes where there is often struggle and strife. Many students don't have someone that can read to them nor do they have books at home. Unfortunately, out of 23- only 3 are reading at grade level. Their love for reading is growing and they are so excited to move up reading levels. These kids are determined to go to college and make a difference in their community.

About my class
