In the heart of Memphis, my Scholars have gone through some pretty transitional and challenging years. Many factors have led to the fact that in a 4th grade classroom, I have students who come to me reading on a Kindergarten level, some coming above 4th grade level, and all levels in between. I have seen a transformational difference in my Scholars this year when they began to get instruction on their current reading level. Their confidence and excitement over reading began to soar which led to reading levels increasing by leaps and bounds. Students are closer than ever to reaching their goals!

About my class
