The art teacher will read the book, “There’s Only One You” by Linda Kranz. In this book are inspirational quotes about overcoming life’s worries as an Intermediate learner. Students will paint individual river rocks to add to a garden path in the edible garden at school. Students will gain a sense of pride while providing a colorful addition to our edible garden. Parents and students who visit the garden atrium area at lunch and outdoor lessons will learn about the “Only One You” inspiration by viewing the garden path as well. By providing this project to our at risk students many future students and adults will have also benefit.
