My school has a weekly lesson that teaches students about life and respecting others. What better way for students to learn character education and gain a love of books then trough Dr. Seuss! Through these Dr. Seuss books I will help students learn about honesty, courage, being unique, being grateful, citizenship, resolving conflicts, integrity, differences and accepting others. As young students they are still learning to navigate through the world and how to hand daily situations in a positive way for themselves and others. These Dr. Seuss books will help the students learn how to make good decisions and solve conflicts on their own. With these lessons students will be learning more than academics but lessons they can take through their whole lives. Combine a great education through literature and a solid foundation in being a good citizen will prepare them for all life has in store for them!
