My classroom consists of students from many different backgrounds. Many of the parents can not afford food or clothing for themselves or their children. These children don't have many toys or things that are exciting or special to them. I want my classroom to be a place that they enjoy working. I want them to have the tools to help them learn to the best of their ability. My students come to school worrying about so many things they cannot change. I want to create a fun, learning classroom that they are proud to have. I want them to take charge of their learning and not have to worry about school. I want them to be engaged and have all other worries move to the back burner. Then they can be excited and exceed in their academics. With items such as snap together letter cubes, my students can be excited and engaged learning to their full potential and beyond during workshop.
