My students love learning about what is happening in our world today outside of our small neighborhood. Time For Kids magazine gives them up-to-date information with pictures which inspire them to explore even more with trips to the library and internet research. After using it in class, students bring the magazines home and are proud to share their new knowledge with their families, sometimes through another language! Our school social studies textbooks and maps are obsolete. My third graders are hearing about the world through media sources that are often confusing, and Time For Kids will help them learn accurate information in a timely manner.
