Since our 4th annual Art Exhibition, that is held in our gymnasium, is quickly approaching, I would like to create more of a feeling of a true art gallery – a more personal space – than a wide open gym with work plastered to the walls. We currently have 18 foam boards that are tied vertically together for 6 standalone exhibit“triangles.” This allows people to meander through the exhibit without being overwhelmed by a wall of work. Since our student population has increased, the amount of young artists’ works have increased proportionally. The desired foam boards, provide more displays to honor the art. The great thing about foam boards is they are light, easy to move, store flat and can be set up and down quickly and are reusable. The exhibition preparations involve students, parents and staff. Our show is enjoyed by our entire school community on the same day as our annual spring music concert, celebrating our numerous talents with pride!
