The students in my class have come to our school for a reason. They are at least legally blind, if not completely blind. However, there are many variations in between. Those include some that have light perception where they can see figures of light and dark. Others have low vision where they can see some things if they are big enough or the student gets close enough. Unfortunately some are totally blind and depend on their other senses, such as hearing and touch to communicate with their world. The students in my class also have other disabilities, including Autism.
