I teach at a Title 1 elementary school on a military installation. We do a lot of fun activities, most of which parents are unable to attend due to being deployed. I have a classroom of 22 students where more than half of my students have one parent deployed, 3 of which have both parent deployed. Our school has 11 first grades 12 Kindergarten classes, 10 LA4 and 5 head start. That is a lot of deployed soldiers we can make happy by sending pictures of their children.
