Preparing Everyone to Accelerate in Robotics is a Pearland ISD school district initiative with the goal to develop a self-sustaining, student-led robotics program in Kindergarten through grade 12. Students in the program will grow in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. The students will experience principles of design and function through the process of building and programming robotics. Students will work collaboratively in a safe environment while developing solutions to the new game or challenge provided through FIRST every year. We are seeking supplemental funding to build student capacity in the invaluable life skills of problem solving and critical thinking supported through FIRST. To ensure the program overall success our project would pilot a FIRST Lego League Junior program within one elementary campus for grades 3rd and 4th. The instruction provided would be one piece in the overall Pearland ISD robotics k-12 alignment. My students need the WeDo 2.0 Core Set
