In this faced paced world, our lives are influenced by technology on a daily basis. We communicate, plan, play, shop and more through technology. Students are now experiencing more and more assignments, assessments and activities that incorporate technology. However, in our school building this is not the case. Our school is equipped with a computer lab that is shared among grade levels. Our classroom has 1 computer and 1 iPad shared with 25 students. My classroom is a community full of 21st Century Learners that are eager to learn through technology. Technology is an immediate engagement tool to these learners. Students can use technology to support their learning and prepare them for the real world, which now operates digitally in every career. In a technology driven world, our classroom is in serious need of a technology make-over.
