I teach second grade in a small, rural Iowa school. Due to budget cuts and limited resources in our district we are not able to purchase curriculum materials to supplement our language arts program. Learning to write using the Six Traits will be very beneficial to my students as they build their understanding of what good writing looks and sounds like.
