My students are from a low socioeconomic area in South Carolina. Our school is in a rural area. Some of my students live in small neighborhoods. Others live on farms spread out from others. Many of them are raising younger brothers and/or sisters. Students in my class are always eager to learn. As their teacher, I supply them with all of the necessary tools to succeed. This may mean buying supplies or filling their brains with knowledge. I do my best to make all of them feel like school is where they belong.
