Chevron is offering select funding for projects that focus on science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM). Educators are encouraged to submit funding requests for classroom materials and experiences that will inspire classroom innovation and enhance the learning environment for students at DonorsChoose.org.

Grant Criteria:

  • Projects submitted in the following subject areas will be considered: Math & Science, Special Needs and Applied Learning, with a priority on Math & Science projects. All projects must show alignment with Math or Science content standards.
  • Only requests submitted between 3/1/17 and 4/30/17 will be considered.
  • Chevron will select only one project per teacher and will fund projects up to $1,500 (about $1,000 in materials cost).
  • You must be a certificated educator working for a K-12 public school institution in Kern or Fresno Counties or one of the following Monterey County districts: San Ardo Union Elementary School District, King City Union School District, South Monterey County Joint Union High School District, San Lucas Elementary School District, San Antonio Union School District, and Bradley Union School District.
  • Educators are advised to consult school districts’ policies on the purchase of materials and equipment prior to making a funding request.
