The final stage of the PwC Charitable Foundation’s Financial Literacy Innovation Challenge is complete, and the results are inspiring! After announcing the winning projects two weeks ago and encouraging teachers to replicate those ideas, hundreds of classroom projects were submitted.Thanks to the PwC Charitable Foundation donation and Almost Home offer, 120 of those projects were funded in just days with the added support of 350 citizen donors. Teachers at 97 of our nation’s public schools–most in low-income communities—will now be able to apply these innovative teaching methods, providing more than 7,300 additional students with financial literacy learning opportunities.Congratulations to the funded teachers and students.
