Google.org Is Kicking Off Teacher Appreciation Week With A Boost!

Share:

The end is in sight, but the school year is not done yet! Teachers are still preparing their final labs, tuning up the orchestra for their last concerts, and squeezing in a few extra short stories to carry their students through the summer. While there are still a few more weeks before the notebooks, lockers, and yearbooks come to a close, now is the perfect time to say two words every teacher needs to hear:

THANK YOU!

Today only, your gratitude for teachers gets an extra boost! To kick off Teacher Appreciation Week, Google.org is saying “thank you” to teachers across the country by giving your donations a 50% boost. (For example, your $50 donation becomes $75.) Google.org is incredibly grateful for the work teachers do every day to help inspire and support their students, so they’re kicking off this week by contributing $1.5 million to boost donations, as part of a new $5 million commitment to public school classrooms.

There are over 50,000 classroom dreams still waiting to be fulfilled to help teachers end their year on a high note. Today’s a great day to support a project from your favorite teacher – or one you’ve never met – and thank them for another incredible school year.
